Randomly

Long Weekend.

When I started reading my News Feed an hour ago, I noticed that most are looking forward to the long weekend. Some would prefer to spend it by the beach, some marked the dates for a movie marathon and most of them will have quality time with their family. Honestly, I want to hang-out on the long weekend but it seems that it will be normal days for me. I texted my brother and cousins with my date plans but I got no reply, or maybe they have their own lakads.

I then realized stuffs about school.

It seems that one day is not enough to accomplish everything at hand. Things are becoming serious now. I feel the pressure about school works and final exams just when my roommate reminded us that, it's already 'BER' month after this week. Wow! Enough about the 'petiks' and 'bahala na' days for me.

There are so many things to be productive for.
But, 'Iniisip ko pa lang, tinatamad na ko.'

Lunch Date.

Chicken Gratini

My friend and I had our lunch at RedCinnamon located in front of our dormitory. We tried one of their specialities, the Chicken Gratini. It is chicken breast with creamy sauce and cheese, garnished with vegetables on the side (plus free red tea and soup).

While waiting for the food to be served, we talked about the random things that happened like that girl who annoys us every time we see her. I don't know why we see that girl through something that pisses us off. It's not like we're mean or something but it just happens. It's like an automatic response that we can actually explain.

Signs.

We then remembered the sign seeking thingy we made after watching "Sign Seeker" starring John Lloyd Cruz. It's one of the entry in Nestle's Short Film Anthology

On the film, John Lloyd was hesitant to check this girl out who happens to be his officemate. He keeps on asking for signs if he will pursue his hot and pretty officemate played by Solenn Heusaff.

We made our own version of this.

Carmela, one of my roommates asked for signs.
Goal is: she will meet again the guy she likes.

  • Sa Dapitan, kapag tuloy-tuloy na naglakad sa kalsada papuntang UST.
  • Inalok ng candy ng kaklase.
  • Kinausap ng kaklaseng hindi masyadong ka-close o kausap.

That day, everything on the list happened. Signs somehow work.

Milky also joined our Sign Seeking thing.
Here's the screen shot at the back of her hand-out.

  • Kapag sumalubong ng ngiti sa elevator.
  • Kapag nakapulot ng barya.
  • Kapag biglang umulan at kasama niya yun taong gusto niya.

Fortunately, no. 1 and no. 2 already happened and still waiting for the 3rd to finally complete all the signs before September 15 which is hopefully-the-Big-day for her.

However, sign-seeking is for fun. We should not merely depend everything in signs. What we actually wish for will be obtained if there's faith, trust and patience to wait. It's not something to expect with guarantee that things will be on our favor because it could always go either way regardless of what we believe and who we worship. It's still in God's plan.

If number 1, 2 and 3 work, if he and she meet again, or if he and she fall in love with each other, God planned for it.
